Braid service concept for AtYours

The concept

What we are building toward.

Braiding requests can vary widely in technique, size, length, materials, preparation, duration, and hair needs. The planned platform would gather those details early so providers receive a clearer, higher-intent request.

AtYours is being designed to turn a detailed request into a clearer, higher-intent opportunity for a suitable provider. The platform is still experimental, and no match, timing, price, or availability is promised.

Possible scope

Ideas being considered for BraidAtYours.

This directory is here to explain the concept and learn what people need. The options below are not currently bookable and may change before launch.

  • Box braids

Classic individual braids in the size and length of your choice, with clean, even parts. Typically 4–6 hours depending on size and length.

  • Knotless braids

A gentler, feed-in technique with less tension at the root and a more natural finish. Typically 5–7 hours for a full head.

  • Cornrows

Classic straight-back or freestyle cornrow patterns, neat and long-lasting. Typically 1–2 hours depending on the design.

  • Kids' protective styles

Patient, gentle braiding for children — cornrows, twists, or simple box braids — with breaks built in. Typically 1–2 hours.

  • Twist styles

Two-strand or Senegalese twists in your chosen size, a lower-tension alternative to braids. Typically 3–5 hours.

  • Braid take-down & scalp care

Careful, gentle removal of an existing style, followed by a scalp treatment to soothe and reset before your next look. Typically 1–1.5 hours.
