FAQ

Good questions, answered.

Everything you might want to know before your first GlamAtYours session.

Booking & how it works

How do I book a GlamAtYours session?

Booking is by message — call, text, or WhatsApp us with your occasion, preferred date, time, and location. We'll confirm your artist and all the details. No app, no online form, no waiting on hold.

We keep it simple on purpose. A real conversation means we can match you with the right artist for your look and make sure the session works perfectly.

How much notice do I need to book?

For weddings and large events, we recommend booking several weeks ahead to guarantee your preferred artist and time. For smaller occasions or same-week bookings, reach out and we'll let you know what's available.

Wedding season weekends fill quickly. If you have a firm date in mind, earlier is always better.

Can I book a trial session before my wedding?

Yes — a trial session is strongly recommended for brides. It lets you and your artist settle on the exact look, test how it photographs, and make any adjustments well before the big day.

Most brides book their trial four to eight weeks ahead of the wedding.

The visit itself

What space do I need to set aside?

Not much. Your artist needs a well-lit spot to work — near a window or with good indoor lighting — a chair or stool, and a flat surface for their kit. A bedroom vanity, kitchen table, or living room all work well.

We'll confirm any setup details when you book. The goal is that the session feels completely natural in your home.

Are your makeup artists trained and experienced?

Yes. Every GlamAtYours artist is trained, experienced, and reviewed on their portfolio before joining the team. We verify their background before anyone joins, and every artist is insured for at-home and on-location work.

You're trusting someone with your most photographed moments — we take that seriously. ID is shown on arrival.

How do you handle hygiene with makeup products and brushes?

Every artist arrives with sanitized brushes, tools, and products suited to a range of skin tones and types. Single-use applicators are used where appropriate, and everything is cleaned to professional standards before every session.

Hygiene is non-negotiable, not optional. We follow best practices for personal care services.

Areas & pricing

How much does an at-home makeup artist cost in Toronto?

GlamAtYours pricing is quoted upfront before you commit — it depends on the service (bridal, event, everyday), group size, and your location in the GTA. Get in touch and we'll give you a clear price in the first conversation. No surprises on the day.

Most clients find the cost comparable to a premium studio session — with no commute, no wait, and no time lost getting ready.

Which areas of the GTA do you serve?

GlamAtYours currently serves the Greater Toronto Area, including Toronto, North York, Etobicoke, Scarborough, Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, and Oakville. If you're just outside the GTA, reach out — we'll do our best to make it work.

We're expanding across Ontario. If your area isn't listed, ask — coverage grows regularly.
